Over the next couple of weeks I'm going to be documenting my build of a Marshall 18w JMP Lead & Bass 2x12 combo (type 1973).
After much deliberation I bought the kit from a very helpful bloke called Vin over on the UK Les Paul forum, and a week or so later it arrived (extremely carefully packed) from The Netherlands.
I'd previously built a 5w single ended amp from a kit, so I've probably got enough experience to build it without electrocuting myself too badly.
We shall see...
